Oasis transforms living plants into floating sculptural compositions.

Rather than functioning as conventional flower vases, the vessels create suspended ecosystems where light, transparency, and living nature become part of the surrounding architecture.

Oasis is an original suspended glass system designed by Erlands Studio, introducing a contemporary interpretation of the inner garden.

The concept explores the relationship between self-care, nature, and the spaces we inhabit, where nurturing the living environment becomes a reflection of nurturing ourselves.

Inspired by Japanese architectural principles such as Tsuboniwa (坪庭), the inner courtyard garden that brings nature into the heart of a living space, and Shakkei (借景), the practice of framing and observing the surrounding landscape, Oasis explores the relationship between nature, architecture, and human presence.

The concept reinterprets the inner garden in a contemporary form, transforming vases, terrariums, and aquariums into a suspended living composition that allows nature to be observed without obstruction from every angle.

By lifting the vessels away from conventional surfaces, Oasis creates an unobstructed way to observe living nature from every angle. The transparent glass forms, suspended in space, transform plants and small ecosystems into a dynamic architectural element — a floating garden designed for connection, observation, and contemplation.

Each glass vessel is individually mouth-blown by skilled artisans using traditional glassblowing techniques.

The organic character of molten glass means that subtle variations in form, thickness, air bubbles, and surface details naturally occur, making every vessel a unique, one-of-a-kind piece.

The suspension system is crafted from solid European oak and powder-coated steel, combining natural warmth with durable precision while maintaining the visual lightness of the floating composition.

The Oasis suspension system is designed exclusively for ceiling mounting and is engineered for straightforward installation. Each composition includes the required mounting components and an installation guide.

The solid oak and powder-coated steel suspension system allows every glass vessel to be individually accessed, removed, and maintained while preserving the purity of the floating composition.

Custom mounting solutions, material finishes, and colour tones are available upon request, allowing each Oasis composition to be tailored to the architectural character and specific requirements of its interior.

Each glass vessel can be individually removed, repositioned, and reinstalled by a single person without the need for tools, making watering, planting, and cleaning simple and intuitive.

The handcrafted glass is designed for everyday use and is both strong and durable when handled with normal care. Clean the glass using a soft cloth and a mild glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that may damage the surface.

Oasis is designed to accommodate a wide variety of living and decorative compositions, including fresh flowers, dried botanicals, hydroponic plants, moss arrangements, terrariums, and small self-contained biomes. Individual vessels can also be used as miniature aquariums, allowing aquatic plants and underwater ecosystems to become part of the floating composition.

For more complex living environments, such as aquariums or closed biomes, we recommend consulting with a specialist before creating the composition to ensure the appropriate conditions for the plants, organisms, and long-term balance of the ecosystem.

Available compositions are prepared and shipped within approximately 2–3 weeks.
